The Aesop Fables website has moved to its domain AesopFables.com Yes this is the same Aesop Fables you've known and loved for the past 11+ years. You can now get to us from AesopFables.com, .net or .org so please bookmark that site and not pacificnet.net/~johnr/aesop/. I have retained this site for now as a jump spot to get to the fables. This site pacificnet.net/~johnr/aesop/ has been deprecated because the ISP pacificnet was sold to some Canadian company and they will not allow cgi/perl to run on it now. Indeed the site relies on the program aesop1.cgi to display fables. As of September 2005 there were over 4000 links to this site, that number has been severely reduced in the past year because of the isp's unconscionable and careless mis-configuration ie: not working without the www and other broken website attributes. If you landed on this page while clicking on a link to a fable that is because I have redirected all errors to here. Any outside links of the form "http://pacificnet.net/~johnr/cgi/aesop1.cgi?4&TheShepherdsBoyandtheWolf" just need to be changed to "http://aesopfables.com/cgi/aesop1.cgi?4&TheShepherdsBoyandtheWolf" in order to work again.
