As the creator/director of TEACHERS HELPING TEACHERS, I've had a number of requests for in-service information through e-mail, so I thought I would just list it here.SOME QUESTIONS I'M FREQUENTLY ASKED:WHAT ARE MY AREAS OF EXPERTISE?I am an experienced in-service instructor in the following areas:
WHAT MAKES MY IN-SERVICE SESSIONS DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?Unlike most of the full-time in-service companies that are promoting a "product/process", I take an eclectic stance, based on the current curricula of the school. In other words, I try to adapt the methodology/innovation/curricula to the school environment, versus trying to change the school environment to match the "published" methodology/innovation/curricula. I found this route is better/more natural for the school. (Although, not having my "own personal method" to sell and publish does cut down on outside income, of course). WHAT MAKES ME QUALIFIED AS AN IN-SERVICE INSTRUCTOR?
HOW MUCH DO THESE IN-SERVICE SESSIONS COST?Since this is not my "full-time" income, I can be negotiable. I base the cost on your school size, how many sessions are planned, your budget, and any other expenses incurred (i.e. transportation). Basically put, if we can work it out with schedules, we can probably make it work within your budget. HOW CAN YOU GET IN TOUCH WITH ME?
I hope this answers your questions. Please contact me for any other information. |
