Safe Passage

support for those struggling with homosexuality

Isaiah 43:2. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Update for 2006

Safe Passage, a weekly group established in 1992, offers ongoing support for men and women struggling with homosexuality. The vision is for each to enter into the journey of disciples walking in love with Jesus Christ, being strengthened through such intimacy to honor His intent as revealed in Scripture for stewarding sexuality – whether in celibacy or marriage – in holiness and joy. Through worship, teaching, prayer, and group support, we remain in motion (Psalms 11:16) with respect to the fullness of life Christ holds for relatedness that reflects His character.

The prayer for the coming year is breakthrough in hidden areas of the heart prone to fragmentation and dissipation of passion. This may be released in part through new heights of worship and prayer, and in part through a structured set of short teachings that are currently in work and will also engage the recent wave of newer participants.
